Steve,
When I refered to AMCC, PMCS and BRCM's days being numbered, I mean their stock price appreciation from here is expected to be difficult in the market environment of forseeable future, not their business prospect. Everyone knows the demand is very high, as it has been for the past year. I like to invest in stocks with high probability of price appreciation within a certain timeframe as a way to reduce risk. Having an excellent underlying business prospect is but one of the key requirements. Hope this clarifies.
