Very tempting indeed. I had a mildy unsuccessful trade on lsi this week. Have orders in low 40's for lsi and low 70's amat. If i miss, i miss. Nasdaq probably will test its support 3850-3900 i believe the chartist say. Anyway Sox should find support earlier.
I think there is logic in the explanation of btb ratio. At $1.46 they couldnt produce fast enough. At $1.26 more in balance. This is a murphy idea as well. BTW he did not say buy chips although considers them undervalued with the exception of intc. He was not impressed with their earnings. But amat, lsi, tsm-- all a buy(my interpetation) when nasdaq 3850-3900 which i think he is expecting as bottom.

Tony: "Some pretty fair country semiconductor stocks have come down a lot off their highs. Tempting. LSI? AMAT? AMD?"

Don't leave out ACLS. Might be the best bargain of the bunch.
