The jury is still out on whether GUMM is a good investment because the cold season is coming and the company recently finalized the joint venture with Swedish Match. Shorts shouldn't be so quick to claim victory, because as is Gum Tech's strategy in their gum business, I believe that they will have a marketing partner or joint venture for Gel Tech in the near future. If they do and get the right partner, it should alleviate concerns/criticsm of how Gum Tech will market Zicam, and provide a boost to the stock. The stock has been basing for a couple of months and neither longs nor shorts have made much on it since the big rally and subsequent decline. I don't think it makes since to hold a short position in this stock, not only because of my optimism about the forward fundamentals, but because the volume had dried up. This increases the risk of holding a short position, IMO. One thing is for sure, the gum business and differences in management ensure that this company isn't "just another Quigley". The wild card in the near term is the prophylactic clinical study. If it comes back positive, I believe that the stock will make a new 52 week high within one week of the news release. Because I believe that the study will come back positive, I predict that GUMM will trade over 35 sometime within the next eight weeks. You can make a prediction if you care to do so.

Luck,

Dan

I know who he is talking about. He no longer has a medical license and is a bona fide quack. A fraud. My intestines wretch at the perpetuation of this sickening display of scientific misconduct. This stock has created a new mold in my book. I'll admit I'm obsessed with it. I won't stand by until the truth is evident and I believe that won't be too much longer.

Tar and feathers anyone?
