I don't agree with your premise and CATV working experience over decades shows that few do self install for TV. The MSOs have to watch out for the ones who do because they're rip off artists. The public applauds that kind of behavior because it's equivalent to "smash the capitalist pigs". Everyone knows that if the corporations were eliminated everything would be wonderful.
