If G* is still afloat, I think we should try again on Thanksgiving Day. Then, if the great squeeze occurs, we can all give thanks to Maurice. If not, maybe we should wait for St. Valentine's Day, on which a real massacre occurred:

Tax swap idea -- switch your G* common to G* debt (tomorrow ?), wait 32 days or longer (you may want to wait long enough for the interest earned on the bonds to cover the bid / ask spread on the bonds (usually 2 full points) (on a slow day, too ...))

You may find that you get comfortable with owning the debt, and not bother switching back.
