We all have faults- but if you want to have the greatest chance at love and friendship you don't stick your faults out to someone first off- you offer the best of yourself first. And you hope that the best make up for the worst. So no- no leg on the table. You don't deny it- but you don't make it a controversy by shoving it in people's faces either.

I have seen children, damaged children, who DO stick their faults out first. And they meet with rejection and pain. It takes someone who KNOWS that it is their fear of rejection and their constant pain that causes them to anticipate the rejection and pain by offering their worst to the world. And there aren't a lot of people who know that George. I love the damaged children, because I know they are in pain- but most people won't. Most people dislike them and never examine why, and never will examine why.
