BB, the VIX is to close resembling the patterns of the last two July's. Last time that semis were starting to be in trouble was July 1996 also an election year NAZ dropped from 1250 to close to 1040 from end of May to end of July, but since it never looked back.

BUT this time IT IS DIFFERENT <GGGGG>

With a Doji Star on July 17

You mentioned three topline touches. Are the number of topline touches useful in determining the completion of a rising wedge. Is three the magic number.

BB,

Something I'm having tremendous difficulty with is differentiaing bearish wedges from bullish flags. Is it not the case that a simple trendline adjustment can change the nature of the graph from bear to bull? Obviously after the fact the trendlines are obvious. Any suggestions? TIA
