The last rhody of the year to bloom is fading-faded. Aladdin. It's a beautiful plant, and the one I have is a whopper. About 16 feet across, and 12 high? The flowers are lily-elegant, and huge. I forget the names of my leaves, so let's say spear-shaped. But there a neat deep olive-y green. A strange color for rhodies. And the last years leaves turn bright Fall red now, even while it is still blooming. It sprinkles these red spears on the ground. The shape is a wide canopy, you can walk under. Which is nice, because the flowers are super fragrant. Might be my favorite. It's maybe like watermelon, but some more cherry pink in there, just like the color. The sun sets horizontally on that side, and just lights it up with red-orange beams. I forget it's parents from the natural/specie world, but who cares; you bozos wouldn't know if I made em up. Wait ~ maybe decorum and griersonianum. Whatever, it's awfully nice that someone succeeded with it, So you get blooms from February to July. Can. Might as well, I figure. It's kind of cheery. Like me. Heh heh.
