Larry, the main reason I pay more attention to raw bookings, as opposed to book-to-bill, is that, based on five years of following this sector, I believe that is what Wall Street looks at.

The biggest factor in the near-term future of the industry has always been the huge variations in demand. The problem with book-to-bill is that it can be affected by factors which have nothing to do with demand, such as, how much companies speed up or slow down production during the business cycle.
