I think CTXS is near a bottom, and anyway the puts I wrote are two quarters in the future, and by then I expect CTXS to have a clearer sales picture. The current issue have a lot to do with changing the sales model plus one key departure (not unusual for a high tech firm).

I only write puts on stocks I wouldn't mind owning at the strike price. The other stocks you mentioned to me, at least the ones I know, still seem very pricey to me. My style is to buy good companies that have been oversold due to Wall Street's typical overreaction to bad news.

I've also written puts recently on T, HON, GBLX, MRO, and TEX.
