I wouldn't be surprised if this beauty visits 8 bucks this week. Soon, we might not have to pay for shares in this company; people might give them away for free :)

JacK: I saw that too in the G&M and the label; "Software Garbage Collector" . G&M also have a wounded Portolio at their web site.

The trouble with GEAC is quite simple; Doing too many things at one time rather than concentrating on profitablity of the whole as a fundamental aim.

Here is what I would do. I would terminate any acquistions till I return to profitability; operating profit not thru amortization. Once I achieve that, I will start selling a division and acquiring pieces for the next sale on the proceeds. It has to be a smooth operation. Currently it is an Antique dealers operation of collecting any wortwhile junk, holding it, maintaining it etc till a buyer appears.
Unfortunately unlike Antiques, software gets obsolete with age and so it needs to be worked on and kept abreast all the time. That costs money.

Good luck.!
