Random thoughts on the BO. Except for the front nine on Sunday, sort of, kind of...well dull. Thought Duval was going to make it a race. Painful watching Duval on the Road Hole. IMO, Els and Duval gave up on the back nine. You could just see it in their posture. Tiger's girlfriend is a babe. Never seen her before. Would have been a lot more fun with some wind. Just does not feel like the Open until someone's hair is at a right angle to their head. How about that crowd jumping the 3 yard birm on 18. I might just be seeing things, but Tiger looked a bit nervous when all those people started running. Wonder if those guys in the orange Nike jackets have guns. Bet they do. What is that little black dash on Tiger's ball? Maybe a weight mark of some sort. Look at the Amercians on the leaderboard. Where are the British? KFE forbid me from picking Monte again. He just does have the game when the heat is on. I think he can hit the shots, but he can't put in together when it really counts. Yesterday and perfect conditions and not a single birdie. Tiger played smart all day, and sometimes that is not the most exciting golf to watch. Still an impressive outing and Faldo's Andrews record falls. Well the Masters is only 9 months away.
