Hey there Keith..

Where do you see that margin level is at it's highest? That would be very surprising to me, as we know there are many people out there that got crushed using margin. It would seem to me that 1) people would have learned a lesson, and 2) there are many folks out there without the capability to reach prior levels of margin due to their reduced account balances.

I am edgy going in August also. But I will stay fully invested in my long hold positions, as I always do. The other half of my money is for CC writing. And since the CC writing account receives a 12-15% inflow upon writing the CC's, that makes me feel better about entering positions this August. But I will be watching closely, prepared to buy back calls if the value drops or if it looks like the market will tube. One can always buy the calls back, and rewrite at a lower strike price also.
