Centrinity Announces 92% Increase In Year-Over-Year Revenue In Third Quarter

Markham, Ontario --

Centrinity Inc. (TSE: CTI), which develops and markets leading
unified communications and collaborative groupware technologies,
today announced a continuing strong growth trend in revenue in
the third quarter ended June 30, 2000.

While the Company's final results will not be released until
mid-August, Centrinity indicated its revenue for the third
quarter was approximately $3.6 million - up 92% from the $1.9
million generated in the third quarter of 1999 after accounting
for the June 24, 1999 acquisition of the SoftArc group on a pro
forma basis, and up 44% from the $2.5 million reported in the
second quarter of fiscal 2000. The Company signed contracts for
new orders totaling roughly $4.6 million during the third
quarter.

"Continuing strong revenue growth is attributable to Centrinity's
increasing success in attracting new customers as well as new
orders from existing customers," said Rick LePage, Centrinity's
new Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. "While
I am extremely pleased with our revenue during my first fiscal
quarter with Centrinity, burgeoning market demand for our
revolutionary unified communications solution should result in
even more dramatic growth in the future."

The Company began shipping its FirstClass unified communications
(UC) solution to customers this summer. FirstClass UC is a
revolutionary, telephony-grade, fully unified technology that
allows users to directly capture, consolidate, sort, prioritize,
and effectively manage messages from any source - e-mail, voice,
or fax - anytime, anywhere, from any device. These capabilities
substantially exceed those of the unified messaging solutions
available on the market today.
