Thanks for your remarks. I hope no one on the thread complains about your criticism of Oracle software, since I need to hear what's good and bad about the companies that I invest in.

Sounds like a configuration issue with your Oracle Application setup - if installed incorrectly (i.e.: too many flex fields) you will need to set navigate through several screens. If you are talking about your core RDBMS having too many "screens" please elaborate.... have you seem Oracle 11i? it is so slick, I am very impressed with the new apps. I usually do PeopleSoft (which I like) and am very impressed with the new look and feel of 11i; both are heads above the competition.
