OFF-TOPIC

Since so many people have been nice to mention my music-writing activities, I'll put it all in perspective. I'm somewhat embarrassed that I wrote a post explaining why I planned to be around less due to the requirements of writing the music.

I actually have curtailed many responses I would have previously written (be grateful!) and am instead trying to limit my responses to the issues at the core of gorilla gaming. That so many of you "made" me appear in the folder so often is because so many of those central issues have come up that I simply couldn't pass on. So the next time some of you decide that Qualcomm isn't a gorilla or that it might be a dominant chimp, please remember that I'm supposed to be writing music. Okay?! :)

The other reason I've been posting more than you or I expected is because the music has actually happened much quicker than I thought would happen. My piece is much, much further along than I or anyone who understands this stuff thought it would be.

Chaz, when you think of Bruce and me, remember that Charles Ives (a famous, innovative American classical composer who mixed American traditional songs with otherwise really wierd sounds) was also a successful businessman at the time he was composing. He not only was a success in the insurance industry, but one source attributed the concept of dollar-cost averaging to him (though that was a music source, not an investing source.) Interesting, huh.
