Tofu is as good as the sauce it is cooked in. It absorbs the flavor of whatever you put it with- and I don't mind it at all. Plus it's really good for me. I don't know why you'd have a blanket prejudice against it. I won't eat tofu ALONE <shudder>.

James, tofu is nothing but fermented bean curd. It is actually quite good, goes well with Miso soup followed by a Japanese salad, sashimi and some sushi with soy sauce and wasabi.

If you wash it all down with a quart of Saki and a quart of Japanese beer, you will wake up the next morning singing the praises of tofu. I guarantee you.

Peace
