Thanks, Carolyn and a big "NO" to all of those. My cable modem has its own cable, brought in new from the corner, and then new to my house...No tv hook ups, and nothing else connected to it. No Radio Shack anything, with my son when it comes to computers, it is top of the line in everything. They came over tonight for dinner, and we decided for sure that I need DSL. I had heard a lot of negatives about DSL too, but now I hear it is much better than cable...I'm going to try it. It can't be any worse than @home! appreciate the post!
