Aunt Karen, You must think I am one of the Internet Quasimodos The Corporate giant was probably convinced at the start of the idea by one of the infiltrated agents of lunacy. Once initial "test responses" were received and/or cooler heads prevailed, the apology was a need, [not a matter of choice, from the business common sense approach], because otherwise, the media would have cut their faces instead of their nose. The real bright side of this is that once again the god soldiers continue to exhibit their lunatic ways of attempting to convince the ones that do not want to be convinced, in spite of mounting evidence against their case. That is the real bright side. Expose themselves for what they are, charlatans selling snake oil. (I do not mind if they want to consume it, but quit promoting it.)
