Thanks Frank for you comments. What if xDSL will support within let say two years 40-50 Mbit/s . I am not technical expert in this arena, however for some reasons SBC,Bell Atlantic
or BT in Europe are spending billions for xDSL based on ATM
infrastructure to create last mile over copper.
This way they will use existing wire and can offer atractive prices for customers.
At this point I am not trying to argue about future of fiber to home, rather timing which is a big ? for me.
