dennis,

Sorry to hear of your difficulties this year, it doesnt seem like that long ago we were talking traditional tech and internet stocks.

I like JDSU, I really like how it bounced back quick after the SDLI announcment. They are going to be very strong after/if the merger is done.

Do a little bit of research on MRVC, they are a optics incubator that have about 10 companies to bring out. It is still a very small market cap and can go a long ways if they get discovered.

Are there others you like? I made out on EXDS back when the announced their split and RMBS when they did theirs. Even in a down market the fiber optics sector seems to be strong. I would say we are far from being finished seeing big gains in the group.

I agree that things areng going straight up in the near term, I get nervous seeing Asia talking of economic doom...especially with the Fed still in a hawkish mode.

I dont think we see a good ammount of downside, there are so many sectors that have been beaten down already, and it would take somthing large to drop us back to the levels we saw last month. If 3900-4000 holds, we will be ok. Watch the second tier fiber optics stocks. There is value there especially in a consolidating sector. I also love how strong the biotechs are. A down day or two, then strength for a few days.

Dont listen to all the bears, it cant all be Technical Analysis that predicts the market.

I like RMBS in the 80's, they have more alliances to announce yet, and that is good for a guaranteed 40 points each time, right???

Take care..
