Thread- I thought someone had posted this previously on this thread, but I can't seem to find it. This press release out of Thomson Multimedia is exactly why selling out SEG HDD business to vultures for an outrageous price is so upsetting. The vultures know that SEG is on the cusp of a revolution in entertainment(which includes PVRs). And they want to be the ones to personally, and privately, capitalize on it. I still can hardly believe how ridiculous the deal is to SEG individual shareholders.

And I can't wait to see the spin that SEG management(primarily Stephen Luczo) puts on the ridiculous buyout deal. I would think even the best in the world, Clinton spin doctors, would have trouble selling the take under deal to shareholders.
