Dennis:

I believe that the sleeper in sectors now is in real estate if one can figure out how invest in it BUT in particular in San Francisco Bay area Reits. Check "BRE"?

The excesses of land and building values in the San Francisco area including of course Silicon Valley are well known. They exceed anything that has happened since the Gold Rush of '49. Folks I know personally down there are sitting on residences now worth millions of dollars that were purchased for under 40 thou. 40 years ago.

Large houses are renting for $4,000 per month on their streets. It's incredible. There's something very stable in real estate in such a densely confined area. Figure out how to make some gains here, and it could be very rewarding IMO?

I have moved into FRESX this month with the idea that only good things can happen if Fido's manager is on the ball. They used to have a good one who retired - Greenwood I think?
