I agree Cheeky if you are unhappy with it. Send it back. That's the good thing about Dell.
The problem with the 820 is that its an either or system. Either SDRAM or RDRAM. The P4 should be a lot faster and I think I've read XMAS 2000 is the scheduled release date.

Dump that P3 and get a machine with an AMD Thunderbird chip. Match it with an Asus board and you'll be smokin'. The chip has 256k on-die L2 cache, and by some reports will smoke the Intel Coppermine.
