Nancy, I didn't mean to forget to respond to your post yesterday, I just ran out of time last night. Thanks for your encouragement as to posting. I enjoy much of the conversation here, even if I don't have as much time to engage in it as I used to. As far as God wanting to atone for our sins and likening it to a parent wanting to atone for a child's sins or errors, I can relate to that. However, I believe that it is up to any individual to eventually be responsible for their own actions. That is why I haven't been able to relate to the idea of the concept of original sin, or inherited sin. I am NOT saying that others shouldn't believe in it, as that is not my right or even my desire to do so. I only speak as to my own beliefs and thoughts. Mark Has anyone heard from Dan?
