Brian: Re: "Objectively, this is a false statement since I have talked to many people via PM who indicate otherwise, for only posting something you disagree with."

You take this as fact because you read it in a PM. And, of course, you take their side without knowing mine. Whatever. But even if what they say has an ounce of truth, they are free to post it anywhere else on SI.

Re: "You are free to take my comments however you wish and even twist them as you did."

I view your comments as offensive as you intended them.

Re: "Please refrain from posting to me in the future. I will do the same with you."

Whatever, Brian, but you just imposed you own version of a moderated thread whether you know it or not by excluding me. Isn't life ironic.

Brian, you wrote to Justa:

"Please refrain from posting to me in the future. I will do the same with you. "

When you post a public message in an unmoderated thread, anyone has the right to reply. It is right that it should be this way, because otherwise someone could attack another poster, and the person being attacked could not defend himself or herself.

Of course, you always have the option of setting the "Ignore" flag, and that's OK too. It does not deprive the person being attacked of the opportunity to defend his or her reputation, as others will still be able to read the replies.
