re: It would be a mistake for a two year old child to derive from the fact that he grew 2 feet since birth that he will therefor be 12 feet tall at age 12.

But there is no problem with an assumption that 18-year old 6 feet young adult would grow another 6 feet by the age of 36 and would be 24 feet tall at the age of 72. :-))

f.simons, Yes, AMD certainly has the advantage of youth, since it's rebirth via the Athlon. % gains come harder as you get older/bigger.
