MGV,

"Top-line" growth has no opportunity to be reinvested, only bottom line.

I think that you may have mistaken my post as being negative on the stock, it was not intended to be that way. I am long this stock and have been for some time. I hold the position that I do because, as I said in my last post, I am a believer in the company. I was adding some realism (from my perspective) as to what the markets are looking for. As someone recently told me, the only thing that matters now is not B-to-B or B-to-C, but P-to-P or "path to profitability". These guys are really close and are expected to be there for the year. My point is that they have to hit both the top-line and bottom line numbers. Failure to do this will have ramifications for the stock price. There have been several instances lately where companies have beat the top line, but missed the bottom line and have been punished. I don't think that we would argue that if they miss the EPS number, that the short term trend would be downward.

As you mention (and as I noted in my post) the street is looking for competitive position and market share. VIGN is looking good in this area. Recent acquisitions have bolstered VIGN's claims in these areas.

If I were to sell, I'd sell before the news (today or tomorrow)and buy it back three days after release at a cheaper price, have more shares and sit back and wait for the appreciation. I'm not sure when options expire here, but if they are soon (friday) then that puts more pressure on the stock. There are not that many shorts or (guess) puts on this stock, therefore the push will be one way.

2 cents.
