if I am to guess then intel would get good recurring inflow on the cpu side and non-recurring outflow on "other" business side again.

Do you always ask leading questions like this? Spot prices for 128M of RDRAM-800 are going for $308 to $350 on Price Watch. And it is generally agreed that the contract prices Dell must be getting on RDRAM are lower than the spot prices.

What lost revenue?

Last I saw, Intel and Dell were in business to make money and were doing quite well at it.
