"...the Fed creates it, out of thin air. the method of injecting it into the market is by buying government paper from financial institutions..." This seems like they are simply paying down US debt. Isn't that part of the plan with our current budget surplus? If so, is the problem that they are doing it on their own schedule rather than what is legislated, thereby exacerbating an already overheated (current) situation? Again, thanks. -D.
