Hi Scumbria; Re the collapse of pricing for extreme high end graphics systems... I think most of it is due to the absence of extremely high resolution (i.e. 5000x3000x32-bit x 60+Hz) display devices. Once you satisfy the eye's motion ability at a given resolution, no need to run up the cost of hardware further. On the other hand, if someone does come up with a 5000x3000 display, it will allow higher cost electronics to be built. (And will be a glorious display system.) -- Carl
