In a manner of speaking. As I said, the pattern of behavior is not unfamiliar, although it is mainly confined to persons in adolescence or their early 20s. They get the misimpression from Ayn Rand that intellectual argument is mainly denunciation of one's opponent, and endless assertions of one's own superiority. Most people grow out of it because it becomes apparent that more is required to be taken seriously............
