Try to keep your politics to yourself, JDN. I, for one, disagree vehemently with you, but this isn't an appropriate forum for that kind of thing IMHO.

Any tough economic measures would likely be introduced as early as possible into an administration, regardless of who wins. SO I would expect a market downturn after the election whatever the outcome. Maybe enough people are thinking the same way and this is getting priced in now but I don't think that is the case. I will probably sit out for the rest of the week. I have some SSTI and SNDK right now, but only in small amounts.

I believe AMD puts will make a good investment soon enough (if they didn't last time I mentioned it here) - they don't seem to be growing their flash revenues as fast as the specialist flash companies, and their commodity copycat processor business is likely to depart from its recent run of good luck in the guise of Intel not being able to meet demand.

"If its GORE, baby we are going down the tubes, if its Bush, we got a chance to fly with the Eagles."

Gee JDN, aren't you the one who likes to quote Scott when he says, "don't look at the ads, look at the numbers?"

After 8 years of Clinton/Gore and the best economy most of us have ever seen, the idea that our economic prosperity would be in grave danger if Gore were to win is laughable on its face. Really, just look at the numbers, as Scott would say.
