Armin,
I also want Noam and friends to add value to our shares. I don't particularly care whether the growth is thru buying Luminent or price increase in MRVC shares. Actually, I prefer MRVC appreciation since that is all LTCG in my case. My goal is the same as yours. Re: Lucent, I find them in the same position that MRVC was in about 18 months ago, no credibility. I ended up as a shareholder via the ASND acquisition and have actually lost money on the deal. LU is a perfect example of what can happen to a stock if they screw one of the big guys. As I am a long term investor, I still believe LU will get their act together. I usually use the "street" as a contrarian indicator as they are out to make fast money for themselves and their bosses just like everyone else in the get rich quick game. I prefer steady growth, but can stand the volatility as evidenced by holding this stock for almost 5 years. I did manage to average down last year, so my basis is pretty low. Sorry to drag on. knc

<I would like to see Noam treat the shareholders fairly and generously by structuring a deal that offers mrvc shareholders rights to purchase at least 100 shares of each mrvc' ipo.>>

gee, that's fair.... 100 shares for s9me clients of mine that have 20k shares of MRVC.... hmmmm... would hope we'll see more of the ipo's spun to the shareholders after the completion of the ipo, similar to <gasp> what HWP did with A.....
