Even though Yahoo has a lot of shorts and BS on its board, there are an amazing number of posts with links to good technical/financial articles and info. I do hate the 70% BS however. I have not seen much on this board either.

Long and strong on MCOM...Good Luck!

Is the PR good enough, at this point in time? Here's an interesting view from yahoo:

that the PR is very low key at MCOM.

However, I am not concerned about this.
I expect it is a strategy, and one I could agree with at this time.

Why?
Because this company appears to be run by engineers. I know engineers and the culture in the Valley.
Engineers here are by nature very biased by nature against hype, ads, etc.
They want to see delivery. They've seen and heard and hear some much hype BS
on a daily basis, that they become very skeptical about almost EVERYTHING.
It is very hard to con a good engineer, in my experience.

In the Valley, there is a well known opposition between Engineering and Marketing.
However, due to the nature of High Tech, the engineers usually win out.
I've never heard of a valley high tech company suffering or dying due to marketing personal leaving, this
is not uncommon for engineering personal. They are key to any high-tech companies survival.

If this was just an engineering company, with yet another hot product,
I might not have such a big investment in it. I might take a small stake, say 100 or so shares.
I hear about hot ideas all the time. Many of them, believe it or not, never go anywhere.
However, with Paul Allen, Vulcan, and the honed management talent this team no doubt
brings to the team, it is an entirely different picture alltogether.

All I want out of MCOM right now is to deliver. The marketers will follow, if necessary.

So, it may come down to a matter of perspective.
My perspective is my exposure to Silicon Valley high tech companies, for a long time.
Along with my exposure to product delivery, from concept to mass production.
Along with my direct use of R1.
Along with my indirect exposure to R2, from an engineer I respect.
Along with my interaction with VCs.

This is why I choose to have a large position in MCOM.

It'll work. >>
