Patron...
Thanks.

I just noticed that my response to your post somehow didn't get posted. I'll try again.

Anyone holding dollar-denominated assets, in the form of debasement of the currency. This includes stocks, bonds, money market accounts, etc. People on a fixed income, of course get royally screwed. Our foreign friends who hold U.S. denominated debt, are helping us hold the bag......"

Dollar Melt.
As the "Greenbucks" go in, the dollar goes down. Since the money to purchase this govt debt does not come from any process or value chain that added intrinsic value to the economy, it dilutes the dollar.

As for non-dollar assets...I kind of understand the consistent interest in gold stocks here in Bear country. But what is the ultimate intrinsic value of gold?

Thanks, again.
