Maybe, if i had given them credit anywhere in my post. But if you consider the rest of the sentence which you cut in half, you'll see i was making an entirely different point.

I agree with you about Perot. (Which is why i think McCain should run 3rd party if he really believes in his country and his cause as he claimed during his campaign. He probably wouldn't win, but he'd certainly get enough votes to put his issue on the table the same way Perot did.)

In the last economic expansion (80's) we were running record deficits, this time 'round we're running record surpluses which helps to keep interest rates down. So that impacts things a little, but really Washington doesn't matter very much.
