Projections assume the patterns of the past continue into the future. Most people know that's not the way it works in the real world. That's why I almost jokingly asked if anyone was up for SUNW at 250 a year from now.

In my actual experience (in terms of mathematical modeling, that is), I find that the most predictable event is what will happen tomorrow (as in my short-term market direction models, which predict where the market will go TOMORROW). Beyond tomorrow, the uncertainty rises quite rapidly. At least, my last 13 years of analysis haven't come up with any models that perform significantly better than what I came up with in my first year of market modeling in terms of predicting mathematically where we'll be in 3 or 12 or 60 months. For that, I have to go on perception just like everyone else.

So -- I didn't predict SUNW will be at 250 in a year, I merely stated that one of the many statistical indicators I use projects that price if the current pattern is maintained.

End of disclaimer. :)

The market models predicted a bad Monday and predict a lousy Tuesday as well...

Happy Investing!
