But Carolyn, not that long ago, only the well-to-do had narrow band access. Like many things in life, services/goods intially available to only the wealthiest "trickle down" to the more modest-of-income. Costco now offers flat screen plasma TVs at 6K. I priced the same size screen at 20K 2 years ago. BMWs were out of reach to most people in the 1980s. Now my plumber has one. At $33 a month, Roadrunner is affordable to a lot of people. DocStone
