Dear Fuzzymath: I heard somewhere yesterday that fund managers today are so scared that they positively wont invest in any company unless the earnings are absolutely secure (ie the damage done when a company "misses" is just too great for them to take the risk). Since SUNW has a spectacular record for coming in on target this likely puts a premium to the value of their stock. I was surprised you mentioned IBM as it doesnt seem like it fits that scenario.
