George, your experience ties in with some things I've been reading recently. The premise is that any company trying to sell things on the Web, whether books, furniture or pharmaceuticals, is just like any other retailer and the key is customer service. I'm assuming that Drugstore.com doesn't have a "help" button on the site like some of the big catalog companies (like L.L. Bean or Lands' End, or both? - I forget) have. I'm sure you would have clicked it when you became frustrated, a real live person would have intervened, and Drugstore would not have lost the sale or (I'm guessing) lost you as a potential future customer. One thing I think we can rely on is that no one will ever have that kind of frustrating experience at the Stayhealthy.com site. I expect Stay to outsource its customer service functions to a premier company that specializes in that sort of thing. -Eric
