<<it seems obvious to me that you have a hunch that luminent is going to be purchased<pre-ipo> by someone...am i reading your insinuations correctly..??..>> nope. i just think they'll get the ipo prospectus out there today or tomorrow.... if not, likely next week. but, it's all just opinion based on the material facts. it sure appears, given the recent filings, they are ready. if luminent is getting bought, they are readying themselves for another division. they didn't jump through those hoops for nothing... as for my statements about all these other component makers getting acquired, i was just pointing to a possible valuation for Luminent.... of course, there always is the possibility the get bought. there sure is a LOT of consolidation going on in the industry.
