Im not really eager to get into a dialog on the net to discuss this issue. I would be happy to discuss it in person, or exchange emails. My email address is
ZWEBNER@BIGFOOT.COM

But I will say that that not only was my family and I hurt by the malicious postings, but my business interests took a battering both in the USA and around the world.

Unfortunetly, with the advent of the Internet, it is easy to make a false allegation, and disseminate it around the world in an electronic flash, for all to see and read, but it is much more difficult to get it retracted, and for ALL the readers who both saw it and read it, to wash it out of their minds.

Yes, I agree with you, regretably, there will be many more such posters coming in the future, but does that mean that you let them get away with it without trying to get justice. Your theory would say to police forces and law enforcement around the world, "Let thieves, burglars and rapists go unpunished, why ? because you cant stop more thieves, burglars and rapists from doing the same crimes in the future."

The real issue is that of catching one, arresting him, charging him with a crime, going through the legal court process, and having the court mete out justice and the crime punished. Then telling the world that this is what this crime pulls, years in prison or fines or whatever. The issue is to show the punishment tom be a deterant to others.

I can assure you that in the New Hampshire court case, I would have been much happier to stop the litigation from day 1. But the defendants even once served with the law suit, continued their attacks, and refused to both stop their malicious postings and issue retractions. It took almost two years and many court motions and appearances to bring this nonsense to a halt. The record will show that I tried to close out nthe litigation many many times, all to no avail.

Even now, as we move on in life, I am having to deal with new malicious posters who have severly hurt me, and try to avoid being served by attornies by playing games and running for cover in the hills. So much for these slimey cowards, who portray themslves as strong and litigious on the net, for public relation purposes, yet run like animals and try to hide when justice comes calling. Never mind, like I said, I will deal with them, all in good time. But, a word of warning to them all, next time, my "setlement deal" will have a different price tag.

Lastly, dont get me wrong, I dont wave a big stick. The only stick I waive is a walking stick. I, like you and like everyone else have the same human rights that we are all entitled to. If I am hurt and it goes beyond the acceptable, I will do whatever I need to, in order to protect my rights and the rights of my friends and associates , AND THE RIGHTS OF ALL MY SHAREHOLDERS. !

When I fight, I fight for you, yes, you are a shareholder too, and it's your money like mine.
So dont be so quick to make a hasty judgement, think what you are saying and you will see that in the end result, my efforts to bring these bad posters to justice and to their senses, is for the good of all, including yourself.

Good Night !
Michael Zwebner
