Richard, There is no need for hypothetical scenario. Why don't you stick to what was said, and over what you are threatening people with lawsuits: Message 14092551 It is Dan's opinion about the products of YOUR company that is shared by many. If you really want to make a positive case for the products of YOUR company, why don't you instead explain the value (if any) that people receive in return for purchasing the product? If you succeed, you will help yourself and YOUR company's cause a lot more than running around threatening people with lawsuits. Hey, Dick, Is it true that Rambus is going to change its name to Sleazy Thieves Inc? :-) I see a high price for Rambus of 50 times earnings and a low price of 20 times earnings. Where in the spread between $3.20 a share and $8 a share do you expect it to be by this fall? Rambus wants 20% of the profits of the DRAM industry for 0.01% of the IP. It's trying to abuse the cross-licensing legal structure that has evolved in the industry over the years. It's a swindle, and I don't think they're going to get away with it.
