Just to give you and the other cynics a little history lesson with this stock, last fall Chris Dupuy from MSDW, one of the underwriters, downgraded it and cut estimates, which turned out to be completely wrong.

Perhaps the analysts learned from that lesson. I would think that the results and growth that EXTR has shown despite acquiring the 3Com folks is remarkable, the history of always exceeding expectations is there, and comparative valuations look relatively low in this brave new net world.

Yes, it may trade down from here, but a Strong Buy here probably has a little more to it than someone jumping on the recent momentum. I am glad I bought a year ago in my IRA and forced myself to forget about it, and am sorry I sold my trading piece a while back at 90.

Give these guys a little credit--EXTR has earned what the stock price now shows compared to its brethren.
