Goutama-- Re: Great article from the Business Week

I think that article was absolutely atrocious. From Jerry Saunders to the NexGen engineered Athlon, to the AMD revenue = .07 * Intel ratio assertion, glaring errors. I sent a letter to the writer of that article (I didn't include the terms "atrocious" or "glaring errors," btw) pointing out the inaccuracies in the article. Hopefully, it will be rectified when I wake up tomorrow morning and re-read it. The general tone and premise were reasonable, but who cares if the presentation is riddled with errors?

"Despite a blowout quarter, Intel's only rival watched its stock go down. Why aren't investors impressed?"

They ARE impressed. Last week, some were inquiring about a possible short squeeze.

No way! I think we are seeing a 'long squeeze'. AMD is such a compelling buy that even Intellabees are long now. Too many people are so long and margined that they HAVE to sell if the stock goes down. And as long as there are no news and the NAZ is tanking, this 'long squeeze' feeds on itself.

Feeds on itself? Hmmm some are even feeding it ;-)
