One thing that should make it slightly easier for AMD to meet it plan for increased Athlon sales is that in the 3rd of 4th quarter there should be less K6 sales thus the total processor sales by AMD will be less then doubled. Athlon prices might go down a bit with the increase of supply, but overall ASPs should go up as Athlon's become a bigger percentage of the mix (K6s aren't very profitable).

I'm certain that Sanders/AMD CAN and WILL double AthWiper sales in Q3.

AMD investors may not be pleased with the low ASPs that AMD will get in order to sell these chips, however.
