PTC Forms Alliance with Computer Sciences Corporation to Provide CPC Solutions; Alliance Represents New Level of Commitment from both Companies

WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 25, 2000--PTC, Inc. (Nasdaq: PMTC), a leader in collaborative product commerce solutions (CPC), today announced that it has expanded its long-standing relationship with Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC), forging an alliance to provide clients with the tools and consulting expertise to help them collaborate with customers, business partners and suppliers in the product innovation process.

Under the terms of the agreement, PTC will work with CSC to implement its Windchill solution for clients that require Internet-based collaborative product design. In addition, CSC consulting staff will be trained on PTC's CPC solutions, and both companies will train their respective business development staffs to recognize the capabilities and value proposition of the alliance.
