This is VERY interesting!

"While standard compliant, this solution will provide improved noise immunity, eliminate possible interference from AM radio frequencies, and increase available bandwidth, expanding the addressable consumer market for DSL service. Plus the increased speeds provided by Enhanced G.Lite, with up to 4 Mbps available, will meet bandwidth demands for applications widely used by the mass market."

Doesn't this sound like Aware's patent recently discussed here?

Will the rocket roar into space or fall over tomorrow.... Who will be scrambling?

The shorts after AWRE blows out the royalty revenue and EPS.

OR

The longs who realize that the chart really is rolling over and even with upside in the qtr, the market just does not care right now.

Key Indicators will be...

% Q-Q change in royalty revenue. This sequential change has been 56%, 54%, 42% over the last few qtrs. Notice the deceleration in the % increase. A positive for the longs would be an inflexion point to break this trend.

A coordinated PR from Intel. Without this, AWRE mgt will only give an encouraging, but otherwise uneventful update.

Investment in operational expenses. AWRE is a one trick pony and needs signficant upside to make up for their need to engineer new products.

PR on patents. This is an area of significant risk for longs and shorts.

Good luck ladies and gentlemen. I assume the positions are already taken at this point.
