Japan's June aluminum imports rise on year, copper down
Tokyo--July 24--Japan's customs-cleared imports of copper and its alloys
fell by 22.2% on year in June to a preliminary 20,826 tonnes, while the
country's imports of aluminum and its alloys rose 9.4% on year in June to
259,589 tonnes, the Ministry of Finance announced Monday. Imports of
non-monetary gold fell 34.4% on year in the same month to a preliminary 6. 2
